Ray Black & The Flying Carpets are totally devoted to the raw and honest sound of early Rockabilly. Still these guys are not afraid of critically selected garage songs from the 60s, that they translate into their own style and use them as a fuel injection for their mainly authentic Rockabilly sound.
Hank’s Jalopy Demons have performed publicly in Melbourne and Internationally since 1996. The latest line-up has been particularly active in seedy late night bars, where they have assailed unsuspecting victims with their well practiced and expert renditions of unadulterated Rock-a-billy music (sometimes cut with illicit substances such as late-50s garage Rock‘n’Roll and Hillbilly).
Dale Rocka & the Volcanoes were formed as a band in 1998 and ever since they’ve been a flagbearer for straight rockabilly in their native island of Sicily and abroad. The energy and elegance of their live shows have produced a solid reputation throughout Europe, and for this reason they’re constantly busy with concerts around the continent.
Born in the death house of Parchment Prison Farm, and sired by werewolves, The Unholy Four are a quartet of hell-raising hooligans bent on giving the devil his due by making unearthly rockin’ sounds up and down the west coast (or any coast)!
Nic Steven Nilsson Started out as a 12 year old in 1979 with rockn roll.. Since 1991 my band name were Uncle Nic & Alternators. In 1998 My artist name become Fireball Steven and focus went on straight in your face raw authentic rockabilly.
Since their take-off in the year 2007, The Rockets have been on the road constantly. After various shows in America and Russia, the band tours in their bus across Europe. Of course they are also frequently back in Switzerland, their homeland. For some time now, The Rockets have been among the bands, which are booked most often in Switzerland.
The Roy Kay Trio, the drummerless trio that have been fixtures on the rockin’ scene since 2002. Dynamic and powerful lead vocals and harmonies supported by huge rhythm and meaningful melodies, the trio continues to draw big crowds of dancers and listeners alike to their authentic and heartfelt stage show. Kieron is well known for his singing/songwriting both at home and abroad with a total of 8 CD releases and 2 vinyl releases spanning 18 years. His song writing is inspired by artists from the 1940s and 50’s and yet he injects his own original style and personality into his music.
The story of Mississippi Queen began in the fall of 1989, in Zagreb, capitol of Croatia. The band was formed by Jurica Štelma (upright bass), Karlo Starcevic (rhythm guitar, vocal), Renato Zgrablic-Pit (second rhythm, guitar, harp, vocals) and Vedran Žanko (lead guitar, vocals). They played together for over a year, and recorded a few sessions from which tree songs were published on the compilation tape “Rock this town”.
Johnny Law started the Pistol Packin’ Daddies band under the name of The Hellfire Trio back in 2001, but later changed it to the Pistol Packin’ Daddies. For the next few years the band played around Western Australia and the lineup changed a number of times during this period. In 2003 the first CD was released by the band called Doggin’ It Home. Since that first release the band have played many major international and national festivals, seducing audiences across the globe.
Maryann & The Tri-Tones is a group playing authentic rockabilly since 2011 when the lovely singer Maryann took her acoustic guitar and joined guitar player Artur and drummer Peeter who had already been making music together for a while. From a local bar they found a waitress named Mari who also happened to play the upright bass and Maryann got a third Tri-Tone to complete the set.
„Rock’n’Roll is here to stay“… This old 1950’s cliche’ is even more relevent today. A great example is RAY ALLEN. He and his band are playing real Rock’n’Roll! RAY ALLEN plays authentic rocking ‘late 50s’ and the bopping early 60s’ sounds without compromise. They even look the part with authentic clothing, microphones, and instruments.
Hailing from one of the sunniest sites in Europe, and being inspired by the huge musical heritage of the famous Memphis label, this newly formed Italian four piece rockabilly band, although new, includes some of the oldest hands of the genre around the southern border of Europe, as Vince Mannino, singer and lead guitarist of the band has been the first one to pick straight authentic rockabilly in his sicilian homeland way back in the late seventies, when just a teenager.
The Round up Boys were put together in 1996 and hail from Berlin/Germany. First record release in 1999, EP ” Something For Everyone” (Favorite Records). Over the years the boys have developed a unique style and sound.
A.J. & the Rockin’ Trio is a four-piece Rockabilly combo, with Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Upright Bass and Drums. The 12 track debut CD “Howlin’ at the Moon” contains 9 self-penned originals and 3 covers, and will be released trough Rhythm Bomb Records based in Berlin, London and Los Angeles. Playing modern Rockabilly, A.J. & the Rockin Trio bring to their sound flavors of R&B, Swing, Country and Jazz, making their own unique blend and vision of Rockabilly music.
There’s no need to introduce The Slapbacks. Hailing from Vienna/Austria, these guys are a household name in the European Rockabilly scene since 1995. They played countless shows and drove thousands of miles all around Europe and the US and are well known for their easy going but at the same time highly professional working style, on and off stage.
