Crystal & Runnin’ Wild – The Midnight Creature

Crystal & Runnin’ Wild’s second album, recorded in MONO, released on Rhythm Bomb Records, is a turning point for this Brussels based band, that takes them off the beaten path, away from the restrictions of traditional Rockabilly. In 13 songs, ”The Midnight Creature” explores all sounds between 60’s Garage and Desperate Rockabilly. Their compositions take you to a universe, colored with dark humor, where B-movie monsters make pin-up girls cry in sheer horror. And there’s no such thing as a happy end. Without restrictions on the delay nor the decibels, their sound is aggressive and electric, their songs fast and effective. (Except for line dancers of course) A creepy touch to primitive Rock’n’Roll, to much delight of the fans of The Cramps, Link Wray and other Sonics.

Miss Lily Moe – Wine Is Fine

With her first album release in 2013, Lily emerged not only as a singer of extraordinary talent, but also as a singer who hinted of volumes yet to be published. Lily reveals a different personality in each number. To the brightest of melodies she often adds a blue note and to the most simple of lyrics she adds a sophisticated wink. Her choice of numbers is exactly right – ranging from the slow and moody BROKEN HEART to the raging sounds of SAMMY THE RABBIT or DADDY YOU CAN`T COME BACK, all tracks have been written especially for Lily. Lily adds a personal touch, a neat and provocative sense of beat and individualized styling. The result is a recorded collection that´s lastingly pleasurable from beginning to end. We think you´ll find this an album destined to occupy a very special place on your record shelf.

Hymn for Her – Drive Til U Die

For Lucy Tight and Wayne Waxing of Hymn for Her, ‘Drive Til U Die’ is more than an album title. It’s a manifesto. A mantra. But to call this Americana duo road warriors would be a misnomer; to them, the road isn’t a battleground to conquer, it’s their beloved home. A nomadic tribe with their young daughter, they dwell in a ’61-vintage Bambi Airstream towed by a Ford van whose odometer shows nearly half a million miles – a trip to the moon. And back. Sleeping to the rhythm of spinning wheels, they thrive on spontaneity, friends and the moments that make it worthwhile: when they stand onstage and unleash their dynamic yin-yang of high-octane outlaw rockers and honey-sweet, harmony-laden ballads.

Dusty Dave & The Heart Attacks – One Beer Left

After releasing their debut single on Rhythm Bomb Records in 2014, The Heart Attacks are finally back with a full length album, featuring an even more brute sound and a new singer called Dusty Dave. Dave totally lives up to his name and graces the 14 songs with his distinctive, smokey voice, sometimes reminiscent of the mississippi delta, sometimes reminiscent of chicago. He is getting support by Lucky Steve on guitar, Dynamite White on Blues Harp, Rockin’ Bende on Drums and Ray Black on Bass, who is also in charge as the producer of this record. „One Beer Left“ is a longplayer which ranges stilistically from extensive, spherical blues boppers to groovy early 60’s R&B to dirty Rockin’ Blues. A musical challenge which is pretty hard to accomplish but invites the audience to an interesting trip through the world of the blues. In contrast to other blues bands, who cover classical material in a perfect way, Dusty Dave & The Heart Attacks prove that they are darn good at one central thing: putting their hearts and souls into their music.

Egidio “Juke” Ingala & The Jacknives – Switcharoo

In every city, town and hamlet in the world, there are a few people who are just a little different. From a little fishing village in southern Brazil to a factory town in the Ukraine there is someone, maybe even three or four like-minded individuals, who speak an esoteric, universal language. From Stockholm to Los Angeles, from Chicago to Milan and Bologna here are people, not many mind you, who communicate in this unwritten dialect. It is the language of the blues. Just for sake of clarification, I’m not talking about “blues-rock” that ugly, coarse, rather juvenile, bastardized way of communicating, but…real blues.
